Brian Reid founded Mirrus in 2006, with the vision of providing leading brands with memorable and measurable platforms to effectively communicate to their consumers. For the last four years, the company has been working with a team of experts to innovate and patent leading advertising mediums that guarantee results.
Fabric HD is Born
The Company began the Fabric HD business by manufacturing custom life jackets and boat fender covers for Chris Craft. Before long, the Company began working with well-known entertainment venues and event production companies who realized integrating this new fabric technology would enhance the fan experience. Along with delivering an unparalleled presentation of staging to their television audience, this technology would ultimately prove to generate incremental revenue.
The Company continued to introduce multiple Fabric HD products with one of the most notable being SeatTux, a custom fitting fabric seat cover. This product enables brands to communicate to the fans in attendance while simultaneously reaching the television audience when empty seats are shown during a typical broadcast. Creating an advertising medium that effectively reaches the consumer through the utilization of an existing underutilized asset resulted in a tremendous amount of interest from prominent venues that were looking for new ways to generate advertising revenue.
In 2007, the Company reached out to a recognized leader in the sports research and asset analysis industry to determine the true effectiveness of this advertising medium. Through their multifaceted analysis, it was determined this was one of the most effective and highest reaching advertising vehicles that had been measured. The analysis that was performed also revealed a piece of critical information that ultimately set the foundation for the Company's flagship product. This analysis determined that there were two places a person was guaranteed to visit when attending a sporting event. Everyone in attendance is guaranteed to sit in his/her seat and visit the restroom.
Mirror Image is Born
Upon receiving this valuable information, the Company set out to create an advertising vehicle that would capitalize on the opportunity to reach every fan in attendance. The Company needed to invent an advertising medium that could live in the restroom, but was captivating enough to eliminate any negativity associated with the restroom environment. This quest resulted in the Company's development of an interactive advertising mirror that leveraged state of the art technology to ensure memorable and measurable results.
Today, Mirrus is enabling brands to reach consumers throughout the world by utilizing the Mirrus Network and other various consumer engagement platforms offered by the Company. The Company is continuously working with leading brands and industry suppliers to develop new and innovative solutions, customized to fit their needs.
